Mint Almond Hummus

Hummus is the perfect snack accompaniment because it goes with so many things. On its own, hummus is already a fantastically healthy food with lots of protein, good fats, and healing properties from the spices. Paired with veggies or flax crackers, you’ve got yourself a nutrition powerhouse.

  • ½ Cup almonds
  • 1 Can (15 ounce) chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tbs sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 Cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbs fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ Cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Pinches sea salt and/or pepper
  • ½ Cup water
  1. Add the almonds, chickpeas, sesame seeds, and garlic to your blender or food processor and process until creamy.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
